The Best #25 in the NFL: LeSean McCoy

LeSean McCoy | Buffalo Bills | Running Back

McCoy spent six years in Philly before joining the Bills in 2015.

Height: 5’11″ | Weight: 210

Hometown: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

College: Pittsburgh

Draft: 2009, Round 2, Pick 53

Contract: 5 years, $40 million, through 2019

LeSean McCoy has been one of the NFL’s elite running backs since becoming a full-time starter for the Eagles in 2010. He is one of the most elusive, hard to tackle backs in the league and those defenders unfortunate enough to meet him in the open field are often left in the dust. As other elite backs from the late 2000s have aged and fallen off, McCoy continues to be a devastating offensive weapon for the Bills.

McCoy bounced back in 2016 after missing four games and failing to rush for 1,000 yards for the first time since his rookie season the year prior. McCoy ran for 1,267 yards and 13 touchdowns in 15 games last year. He added 356 yards and another touchdown through the air and didn’t lose a fumble all season.

Heading into this season, McCoy will continue to be one of the few feature backs in the NFL. He still has that elite talent so look for him to put up 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2017.
