The Best #26 in the NFL: Le’Veon Bell

Le’Veon Bell | Pittsburgh Steelers | Running Back

Bell is franchise tagged for the 2017 season.

Height: 6’1″ | Weight: 225

Date of Birth: 2/18/1992 (25)

Hometown: Columbus, Ohio

College: Michigan State

Draft: 2013, Round 2, Pick 48

Contract: 2017, Franchise Tag

Le’Veon Bell is the most complete, best all-around running back in the NFL. No other player in the league is capable of coming to a full stop behind his line, change direction, and burst through a hole that wasn’t there a second before like Bell can. Any other back and that’s a tackle for a loss, but not for Bell. He’s shifty, has a nasty cutback, and can run defenders over. Bell is also a fantastic blocker and is nearly as good as David Johnson when it comes to being a receiver. He is the complete package.

In 2016, Bell was suspended for the first 4 games of the season and still rushed for 1,268 yards in 12 games. His 616 reception yards and 9 total touchdowns only added to his value as a playmaker.

If he can stay healthy and keeps out of the commissioner’s doghouse, Bell is primed to have a monster 2017 season. His current contract situation is a little concerning, but reports say he does not plan to hold out into the regular season. Expect 1,500 rushing yards, 750 receiving yards, and 12 total touchdowns from Bell in 2017.
