When the Eagles drafted Jason Kelce in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft, they probably didn’t believe the undersized center would end up overtaking the starting job by the start of the regular season. Well, he did, and Kelce has been a very good starter in the six years since, playing his way into two Pro Bowls in that time.
The longest tenured interior lineman in Philly, Kelce played a major role in the rise of LeSean McCoy as an elite running back, and the line as a whole allowed for a strong rookie campaign from 2016 #2 overall pick, Carson Wentz.
Despite being a Pro Bowler twice since 2014, Kelce has been the subject of trade rumors this offseason. If he does leave Philadelphia, Kelce will surely make an impact wherever he ends up in 2017.
Awards and Accolades:
2x Pro Bowl (2014, 2016)
