Date of Birth: 9/21/1992 (24)
Hometown: Westchester, Illinois

Draft: 2015, Undrafted
Contract: 3 years, $1.581 million, through 2017
Cameron Meredith emerged for the Bears in 2016 after injuries to both Jay Cutler and Alshon Jeffery opened up opportunities for other playmakers to emerge. Meredith took full advantage of his chance, catching 66 passes for 888 yards, and 4 touchdowns in 14 games.
With Jeffery departing to Philadelphia this offseason, Meredith should be the starting wide receiver for Mike Glennon or Mitch Trubisky. A big bodied route runner, Meredith excels especially with double moves, and is primed to have a breakout season.
Unfortunately Meredith tore ligaments in his thumb a few weeks ago, however he should be ready for preseason, and will certainly be good to go come September. If he can adjust to facing top corners, and potentially double coverage, Meredith could be on his way to a 1,000 yard season as the Bears main receiving threat.
